An Armadillo Invasion

After hearing about some family members who live in a warmer climate and who have been dealing with an armadillo invasion, I was inspired to create some armadillo artwork. They’re such cool looking animals! I created the above armadillo graphic t-shirt for my Threadless Artist shop. I liked the way the ivory looked on the darker colored tees.

But I also love color, so I went with an orange armadillo illustration and text for my Don’t Touch Me Armadillo products on Redbubble like this funny armadillo sticker.

By the way that’s not just a clever social distancing slogan. If you do ever come across an armadillo you shouldn’t touch it not only for their health, but for yours as well as these cute but strange creatures can carry some serious diseases.

I had so much fun playing around with colorizing my armadillo graphic, that I went a little nuts and created a colorful pattern of armadillos. These brightly colored armadillos in teal and navy blue, magenta, dark red, orange, yellow, bright green, olive green and purple sit against a cream colored background. You can find an assortment of products including phone cases, clothing and of course armadilos pillows featuring my rainbow armadillo pattern in my Redbubble shop.

The armadillo invasion doesn’t end there. I’ve also added some fun armadillo products to my Zazzle shop, where you’ll find armadillo party supplies, fun armadillo patterned accessories and of course plenty of personalized armadillo gifts. You can browse the different custom armadillo styles available in the The Armadillo Lovers Collection.

Hopefully, you don’t have any actual armadillo invaders where you are, but if you do remember not to touch these critters. Wildlife removal experts and humane traps can help you relocate your invaders to a new home.

Oh, and if you do know anyone dealing with an armadillo invasion, perhaps you should treat them to their very own personalized armadillo mug because why not?
