The New Jersey Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators will be holding their annual conference from June 3 through June 5 in Princeton, NJ. It’s spring. It arrived in these parts with a dumping of snow and slush. Add to that the fact that presently the only way I can access the internet is via a signal from a kindly if unsuspecting neighbor, and well, I guess it hasn’t been the greatest start to the season. Hey, everyone I’m over at the Class of 2K11 blog today talking about book marketing and the fine art of hand-selling books to everyone I have ever known and then some. So, stop by if you have a minute or two.

I am going to attempt to put together my own book trailer. Technology isn’t always my friend so we’ll have to see how this goes. Anyway, I’m posting this because I need some help with my book trailer. Specifically I need some pictures of you, your friends, your kids, your pets or even local statues (I’m not that fussy) holding up a sign that reads “I am popular”. Yes, I know most normal people put together their book trailers using readily available stock photos, but I think it’s already been established that I am not exactly normal.
