Ferocity Summer Blog Tour Road Trip: The Book Cellar
Another day, another blog. Today, I”m visiting The Book Cellar, hop on over to find out the inside scoop on the dedication that appears in Ferocity Summer and also pick up more giveaway entries. But first, a fun road trip story and picture from Erica at The Book Cellar: So I show rabbits nationally, and I try to attend nationals and convention as often as I can. A few years ago nationals was in Pennsylvania, so we made the 18 hour trip there. On the way back, my mom and her friend were switching drivers, so we got off on the Gary, Indiana exit. The issue was: there was no on ramp. So we ended up going through an industrial park, through a scary neighborhood, and all over, until a trucker finally directed us how to get back on the road. We stopped at a...
Ferocity Summer Blog Tour Road Trip: Cari’s Book Blog
I’m on the road today, and off to the great state of Texas. Well, not physically, but virtually with a stop over at Cari’s Book Blog. Of course, authors aren’t the only ones who enjoy a road trip. Here’s what Cari had to say about a recent road trip: Wow there are so many favorite literary road trips but if I had to pick just one I would say ALA 2011 in New Orleans. Fellow Texas bloggers Jen Bigheart from I Read Banned Books, Michelle Flores from Windowpane Memoirs, and Stephanie Pellegrin who will be published in the Dear Teen Me anthology this fall did the trip together. A little fairy told me . . .
. . . that the cover for Kiki Hamilton’s new book looks stunning, but you be the judge: The Torn Wing is the sequel to Kiki’s awesome debut, The Faerie Ring, which was filled with excitement and magic and set in historic London. I’m doing a horrible job telling you about The Faerie Ring, so I’m going to let Kiki take the reins on The Torn Wing so that I don’t mess things up. Here’s the official description: Tiki’s greatest fear suddenly becomes all too real: the fey have returned to London seeking revenge. As war escalates in the Otherworld, Queen Victoria’s youngest son, Prince Leopold, is attacked. In order to protect her family and the ones she loves, she needs to know the meaning of an fáinne sí, the birthmark that...
Giveaway Announcement
The release date for Ferocity Summer is getting closer, I’ve been busy working on putting together a blog tour. (By the way, I could still use a couple of blogs willing to host me for a guest post. If you’re interested, let me know.) I’ll have more on the blog tour later, which will also include a giveaway, but for now I wanted to tell you about a giveaway that is going on right now. If you would like to get your hands on a signed copy of Ferocity Summer, you have two options*. If you’re anywhere near me, you can come meet me at one of my local book signings and get your book autographed and personalized in person, but if you don’t live near me or don’t have the funds to be buying any books just now, there’s another...
