1. I have access to the internet.
Hi there! It’s been a little while since I posted on here, but that’s because I was busy moving into my new digs, and the internet wasn’t turned on until the end of last week. Now, that things are up and running and now that I am mostly caught up on email and such, I’ll try to get back into the habit of posting stuff regularly.
2. This Week is The NYC Teen Author Festival
If you happen to be a New Yorker, this is a very awesome week indeed. That’s because the NYC Teen Author Festival is underway, right now, as I type. There are events all week long, throughout the city. I’ll even be taking part in some of them. I’ll be reading on Thursday and signing on Sunday. For the full list of NYC Teen Author Festival events visit their Facebook page.
3. Sunside aka The Band in My Trailer is going international
If you happen to be British, this is an awesome week for you for an entirely different reason. Sunside will be making their debut on UK radio. Mark from Sunside writes, “Our song, “B-Side Girl” will be aired on Sine FM in the UK next Saturday, 3/31. The radio show is called “The First 45″ and will air from 2-4pm GMT. The broadcast reaches 116,000 households and 7,000+ businesses in the Yorkshire region (this is up near Manchester and Liverpool).” Of course, thanks to the miracles of modern technology, you don’t even have to live in the Yorkshire region to listen. You an listen to Sine FM via their website.
What a week, so much awesomeness, so many boxes still left to unpack. I think I need to go to bed.
