Okay, so later on this week I am headed up to Maine because one of my cousins is getting married. Ever the cheapskate, I decided to try and combine the trip with some book promotion type things, though bookstore bankruptcies and technology issues have made that a bit of a challenge.
Anyway, I am going to be doing a book signing at Tatnuck Booksellers in Westborough, MA on Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Problem is that because for reasons neither of us understand my emails were never reaching the store’s wonderful events manager. Here’s where you come in. I need all the help I can in spreading the word about this. If you live anywhere near Westborough, Massachusetts or know anyone who does can you help spread the word about this event.
The term book signing really fails to do this event justice. This is going to be a fun book event. Even if you are completely broke and can’t buy a book stop by just to say “hi” and shoot the breeze so at least I don’t feel so lonely. Oh, and pick up a scratch off ticket. That’s right, I am making and giving out scratch off tickets with the chance to win some fun prizes. Hey, I had to do something with all those leftover book launch postcards! (By the way, if you are looking for details on making your own scratch off tickets, there is an awesome tutorial here.)
So, if you are a reader or writer anywhere near Westborough come on by Thursday night. We can talk about books or writing or the New York Yankees. They love the Yankees in Massachusetts, don’t they? No? Well, then you’ll just have to pick my brain about writing and publishing and stuff.
