I found an early Christmas present when I went to the post office today. My copy of Small Beer Press’s A Working Writer’s Daily Planner 2010 arrived. I ordered it months ago, and have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. Yeah, it’s here! Now, I can start planning next year or at least start flipping through the planner and daydream about planning next year.
If you are a writer and not familiar with this wonderful planner, you should head over to Small Beer Press and pick yourself up a copy, or better yet tell those people that are buying you gifts this year that this present must be underneath your Christmas tree. In addition to being a regular annual planner it is chock full of writing tips, important writing dates and lists of deadlines for grants and anthologies. In short, it is completely awesome.
By the way, if you have a writer on your Christmas list (other than me, of course, since I already bought my copy; don’t want to take any chances), you really should buy them a copy. It makes a great gift, and they will be eternally grateful.
Okay, off to daydream about planning.
